John has 19 years of experience as a realtor, and is licensed in Virginia and DC. Prior to becoming a realtor, he had worked for fifteen years in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate, his last four years as foreign policy advisor to Chairman of a Senate Foreign Relations SubCommittee. In this capacity, John worked with and met the needs of a variety of people: from constituents navigating the complexities of the federal government to Ambassadors from nations throughout the world. John is First Vice President on the board of the Donaldson Run Civic Association (DRCA), is a member and past Vestry member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and is a member and past board member of the Arlington County Tennis Association (ACTA), While not working, he enjoys playing tennis, skiing, practicing yoga and going on long walks with his dog Izzy.
